Virgil Griffith, creator of the popular WikiScanner that exposed edits that Diebold and CIA employees were making to Wikipedia pages, is releasing a suite of new tools at the HOPE (Hackers on Planet Earth) conference in New York today.
Wow, great new tools to help keep the integrity of Wikipedia and more, from master hacker, Virgil Griffith.
Great! I must say that Wikipedia is becoming one of my first stops when looking up general information on the net. I'm finding that I've started checking there first even for movies and actors/directors (I used to start with IMDb).
Wiktionary (which I just discovered recently) is also a very useful tool.
